Excellency Club Mercurey cask finish is a blended malt whisky made from two single malt previously matured in Bourbon barrels.
For this limited edition, Excellency Club whisky treats himself with a brief stopover in one of the most famous French wine region : Burgundy ! It is finished in a red Mercurey cask (pinot noir) for five months. This renowned village appellation from Côte Chalonnaise is known to produce wines that are particularly fruity and well structured.
It is best enjoyed neat or on the rocks.
Golden appearence with light rosé reflections.
Intense nose, fruits aromas (candied fig, apricot), buttery and red wine notes. In the end a light note of orange blossom arises.
Dry, round with beautiful flavours of malt and red berries. As well as toasted bread notes.
