Qui sommes-nous ?
Almost 250 years after its origins, Distillerie Vinet-Delpech creates « Les brűleries modernes », in charge of the group’s brands.
In the 15th century, this term was used to describe the places where eau de vie was distilled.
This special, rare and obsolete meaning is the perfect contrast with the concept of modernity. This is why "Les Brûleries Modernes" represents an original and unconventional lexical association.
Managed since 1991 by an engineer, Bruno Delannoy, Distillerie Vinet-Delpech today provides Les Brûleries Modernes, led by his son Jean-Baptiste, with top infrastructure, a 100 hectare vineyard in the best cognac areas, as well as a young and multicultural team.
This new structure aims to create, launch, develop and support the group’s brands around the world. It relies on an exceptional technical know-how, a broad commercial network, deep relationships in the world of wines and spirits, together with strong and diversified supplies.
Les Brûleries Modernes are thus able to offer from now on a complete portfolio: Gin, Whisky, Cognac, Pineaux des Charentes, Brandy and Armagnac.
GIN HOLD UP
Hold Up gin is the fruit of a collaboration between the know-how of a distiller and the imagination from an author of crime thrillers. It is the result of a perfect cocktail, mixed with precision, inspiration and passion.
Hold Up is a craft gin distilled in copper pot stills in the Cognac region. The extraordinary recipe highlights the careful selection of the best possible botanical ingredients.
On the nose, the notes of juniper combine perfectly with more pronounced citrus aromas, anise and coriander.
On the palate, the texture offers a smooth, round and long aftertaste.
Complex and aromatic, Hold Up will delight gin lovers, especially when simply accompanied with tonic embellished with Timur berries, in a Negroni or any other cocktail with an expressive base.
Whisky de France Palisson
Saturday evening, it's sunset, a soft breeze caresses our face. A village, not even a village, a place called Palisson, on the border of the Charente and the Charente Maritime. Three buildings in the middle of a sea of vines, the cradle of Jean-Baptiste Delannoy's family. A few steps and we are in a wine cellar. Barrels, darkness, humidity, aromas... In this world at 100 mph, where everything changes very quickly, this cellar is frozen in time. We explore, we smell, a nip, we taste. And then, the surprise... A single malt in the land of cognac!
For this single malt from France, from a French brew, the Cellar Master has chosen a double distillation in a Charentais still. Once distilled, the eau-de-vie goes to the Palisson cellar, at the end of the road, to begin its maturation. The identity of this first batch comes from its ageing in Limousin oak barrels that had previously contained cognac, giving it harmony, softness and delicacy. It’s time to relax. After a long day, the clinking of glasses, there’s music in the background, we talk, we laugh, we enjoy the moment.
A glass of Palisson Whisky. Time stands still.
To be enjoyed as a dry aperitif or on ice, with a ginger beer, but also as a digestive.
Whisky Excellency Club Cognac Cask Finish
At Les Brûleries Modernes, we aim to work in the traditional and proper way, while trying to think outside the box, and bring our personal touch on things. With Excellency Club Cognac Cask Finish, we selected a whisky in the South of the Highlands to bring it back onto the land of Cognac.
An old story tells, by the way, that a gentleman's club across the Channel had a gorilla for a mascot, to symbolize the non-conformism of its members. This legend inspired what we wanted to express through this new product.
Blended Malt from two single malts aged in Bourbon barrels, it is then matured for several months in our cellars, in second-fill Delpech-Fougerat Cognac casks.
Its gold colour announces complex and powerful aromas, of malts and typical notes of Cognac: honey, white flowers and quince. On the palate, a beautiful balance of spices and fruits appears, and lasts.
You'll enjoy our whisky as a pre-dinner drink on its own, dry or on the rocks, or simply accompanied by ginger beer.
Pineaux Brigitte et Louise White and Red

BRANDY EXTRA HECTOR LE GRAND 15 YEARS OLD
Brandy Hector Legrand Extra is a true revelation. We are eternally grateful to Hector for leaving this spirit to age in the cellars for fifteen years, allowing us to discover this exquisite result.
With its modern packaging and refined design, this brandy offers a true richness. Aged in oak casks for fifteen long years, creating a beautiful mahogany colour with bright tints. The first aromas are very intense and characterised by notes of candied orange and bourbon vanilla. Once it breathes, it reveals chocolatey aromas with toasted and caramel notes. The taste is suave and rich with hints of chocolate, cocoa and roasted dry fruits. The aftertaste is balanced and lengthy.
Brandy Hector Legrand Extra is recommended as a digestive, neat or over ice and accompanied by a square of dark chocolate for example.
VINTAGE ARMAGNAC TRÉSOR DES ROIS
ALike a real treasure hunt, we have crossed the South West of France and discovered exceptional vintages of Armagnac.
Distilled in Armagnac stills, then aged in oak casks from Gascony and Limousin, each vintage is unique for its complexity and aromatic richness. Each bottle is individually numbered and presented with a certificate of authenticity for each vintage.
It is recommended to enjoy the vintage Armagnacs Trésor des Rois as a digestive with or without ice.
