Product launch of Palisson – Whisky de France

Press release

Les Brûleries Modernes will exhibit for the second time at Wine Paris & Vinexpo 2023, in the Be Spirits area. After Brigitte et Louise last year, this year's edition is the perfect occasion to launch their first French single malt whisky: Palisson.

In the heart of the Delannoy family's vineyard, on the border of the Charente and Charente Maritime regions, the Palisson site is home to the cellars that house the company's latest product. Frozen in time, these cellars have given much more than their name to this French whisky.

Palisson is a single malt from France, made from a French brew. The Cellar Master has opted for the Cognac method of double distillation in a Charentais still. Once distilled, the eau-de- vie is sent to the Palisson cellar to begin its maturation. The identity of this first batch comes from its ageing in Limousin oak barrels that had previously contained cognac, giving it harmony, softness and delicacy.

With a golden colour and a nose perfumed with fruity, floral and pastry aromas, it is supple and round in the mouth. Malt flavours dominate and are accompanied by notes of pear and biscuit. We appreciate its aromatic balance and its nice long aftertaste.

Palisson is perfect as a dry aperitif or on ice, with a ginger beer, but also as a digestive.

Adorned with a delicate packaging with a feminine touch that contrasts with the classics of the category, Palisson is offered in an elegant and refined giftbox that makes it an ideal present.

Palisson – Whisky de France sera présenté au salon France Quintessence 2022.
